A student’s perspective on learning with AMP.
I started taking music production classes with Travis over the last month. Over the period of a month I have learned a ton of creative ways to produce music as well as the science behind the sound. I strongly recommend taking courses here if you would like to get into anything music related. They are professional and can work with you if your schedule isn’t very flexible. Travis is amazing! We couldn’t be happier. He has helped our son so much. Travis is a wealth of information, and kind and patient. He was even able to integrate the system we currently were using at home into the lessons. He provides a well rounded approach to teaching DJ methods and covers music theory etc. We def recommend this class and can’t thank Travis enough.
My son has been with Amp for several years now and has loved it from the start! He is 17 years old now and both Travis and Nick have been such an inspiration and exceptional role model for him. A former Full Sail Recording Arts instructor and Battery Studios/ Sony BMG Music Entertainment engineer, he founded AMP Music Lab in 2015. Working with Travis is exactly like hiring a private guitar or piano teacher, except your instrument is the recording arts. We strip away the rigid classroom setting and bring university-grade audio education directly to your home or office, using your actual gear. Every custom program is fully tailored to your musical goals, skill level, and software choices so you can learn songwriting, recording, mixing, and mastering efficiently.

AMP comes to your home or workspace in Palm Beach County, including West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, and Jupiter. Remote options are available for suitable music production and studio consultations. We’ll confirm the location and format on your call.
Yes. The aim is to help you learn with the software, controller, or studio equipment you actually use. Tell us what you have when you inquire so we can confirm compatibility and what to prepare.
The 4-hour DJ course is $597 and the 8-hour DJ Accelerator is $1,097. The 4-hour Music Production Intensive is $597. Studio Setup Help starts with a 2-hour consultation for $297; hands-on setup work is quoted separately. Each education page explains its options.
Yes. Youth and adult learners are welcome. For younger students, we’ll discuss goals, readiness, and the parent or guardian’s involvement before booking.
A 4-hour package can be completed as two 2-hour labs or one 4-hour intensive. The 8-hour DJ Accelerator is delivered in focused sessions. Both packages must be completed within 28 calendar days of purchase.
